For Families

Families place a parent here once. We help them get it right.

From the first phone call to the first hundred days and every quiet Sunday evening after, Senioa Life is a partner to families navigating one of life's most important decisions.

The Family Journey

Six steps, at your pace.

There is no rushing this decision. Our resident advisors walk with you — never ahead of you — through every part of the process.

  • Step 01

    The first conversation

A private call with a resident advisor. No sales pitch. We listen to your loved one's story, health picture, and what "home" needs to feel like.

  • Step 02

    Community visit

A tour on your schedule — including evenings and weekends. Meet the executive director, dine with residents, and see the neighborhood at its most honest hour.

  • Step 03

    Clinical assessment

Our nursing team completes a full clinical assessment, coordinating with your loved one's physicians to design the right care plan from day one.

  • Step 04

    Financial planning

Transparent pricing. Long-term care insurance guidance. Veterans benefits review. We give you the numbers in writing before you sign anything.

  • Step 05

    Move-in day

A dedicated welcome team helps set up the apartment, meet neighbors, and settle every practical detail — down to which pharmacy delivers on Sundays.

  • Step 06

    The first hundred days

Weekly family check-ins, monthly clinical reviews, and a permanent open door with the executive director. If something is not right, we hear about it — and we fix it.

Frequently Asked

Answers to the questions families ask us first.

  • How do we know if it is time?

There is rarely a single moment. Look for compounding signals — recent falls, medication confusion, isolation, weight loss, or a caregiver spouse who is quietly exhausted. A conversation with our resident advisors is a good place to start, even if a move is a year away.

  • What does it cost?

Pricing varies by community, apartment style, and care level. We provide a written, itemized quote before any commitment — including the care assessment, monthly fee, one-time fees, and how each escalates over time. We never surprise a family with a rate change.

  • What happens if my parent's care needs change?

Because Senioa Life spans the full continuum of care, most residents can age in place — moving between independent living, assisted living, memory care, and skilled nursing without leaving the community. Our clinical team walks families through every transition.

  • How do you handle memory care?

Our memory care neighborhoods are purpose-built for residents living with Alzheimer's and other dementias — secure but never institutional, with unhurried caregivers, dementia-informed design, and evidence-based programming. Families receive weekly updates and are welcome any hour.

  • Can we bring our loved one's pet?

Yes — most Senioa Life communities are pet-friendly, with pet-care support available for residents whose mobility changes over time. We know the pet is often family, too.

  • How do you handle a middle-of-the-night emergency?

Every community is staffed 24/7 with licensed clinical personnel. Response protocols are practiced weekly. Families are notified in real time — no matter the hour — with a full clinical summary and next-step recommendations.
