Senior housing is inherently an accessibility-first industry. That commitment extends to our digital presence. Senioa Life is committed to providing a website and LP Portal that are accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of technology or ability.
Target Standard
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). WCAG defines requirements for designers and developers to make web content more accessible for people with visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, language, learning, and neurological disabilities.
Ongoing Work
- Semantic HTML structure across all pages
- Sufficient color contrast on all text and interactive elements (audited quarterly)
- Full keyboard navigation, with visible focus indicators
- Alternative text on all meaningful images
- Descriptive link and button labels
- Responsive typography that scales to 200% without loss of content
- Reduced-motion mode that respects user preferences
- Screen-reader compatibility testing on NVDA, JAWS, and VoiceOver
Known Limitations
Some third-party content, embedded documents, and legacy PDFs may not yet fully conform to WCAG 2.2 AA. We are working to remediate these on an ongoing basis and can provide accessible alternatives on request.
